Trading Deadline: September 2011

When I first started thinking about starting this project, I figured this kind of game would be a good fit for me. I work with social media, teaching businesses how to use social media and blogs to market their busnesses. So I figure I have the skills to try to get this game up and running.

The first thing I did was create a blog, the one you’re reading right now. I know I want to be able to show the trades by video on YouTube and here on the blog. I also want to be able t receive comments from you, the readers. So feel free to leave comments for me about anything. Tell me what you think of the game, what you think will happen next.

I’ve opened a Twitter account at @tradeupcollege. I”m hoping to get more active with that and with a Facebook fan page soon.

Looking at the calendar, I realize I only have 18 months to reach my goal. My son starts college in September 2011. That’s the date I need to shoot for. The clock keeps ticking!
