Let the Game Begin!

When I heard that a man name Kyle MacDonald in Canada played this game and traded a red paperclip for a house, I was so intrigued. “That’s what I need to do!” I couldn’t ge the idea out of my head.

What if I tried this? Would people think I’m nuts? Would they think I’m tacky trying to get a lot of money for my children’s college education? Would they think me irresponsible for not having anything save?

I tried the idea out on some close friends and family. Each time they reacted the same. First they were puzzled, but the more I explained what Kyle had done, the more they liked the idea. My most trusted circle seemed to think it was interesting, sure, go for it.

And so I am. I’m a mom hell-bent on a mission to send her children to college. I’m also hoping to have some real adventure along the way.
